Master Primary School Subjects with Our 3 Areas of Mastery Focus:
1) Concepts Mastery and 2) Study Skills Mastery 3) Metacognition Mastery
Skills that accelerate your child’s learning abilities and promote independent learning
Concepts mastery is essential for students to be able to understand and apply the keys concepts learnt to the challenging higher-order questions. We teach concepts through various approaches like scaffolding, concrete-pictorial-heuristics, manipulative and hands-on activities, drill and practice and the use of education technology tools.
In addition, our teaching resources and materials (including cheat sheets) are developed and reviewed regularly by our team of curriculum specialists for syllabus updates and latest PSLE question trends.
Beyond the weekly interaction with our tutors and at school, we coach our students how to maximise their study time at home. Mastering Study Skills can increase student’s confidence, self-esteem and performance in school. By developing effective study skills, students will be able to cut down the number of hours spend studying, leaving more time for play and relaxation.
We also believe that Metacognition (i.e. learning how to learn) is fundamental for every primary school student – as these skills will help your child to quickly grasp concepts, understand content, pick up new skills and know how to apply what they’ve learn in examinations.
