Math, English, Science, PSLE and Secondary Malay Tuition at Our Choa Chu Kang Centre

Five minutes from Choa Chu Kang MRT, with hybrid Secondary Malay built around real family schedules. Explore each subject below, all taught by NIE-trained tutors in small classes of 1:12.

Our math tuition in Choa Chu Kang is designed to close the gaps that quietly form between Primary 3 and Primary 5, before they become PSLE problems.

Taught by Mr Yang Iskandar, Principal of Edufront

P6 Maths at our Choa Chu Kang centre is led by Mr Yang Iskandar, Principal of Edufront and a former MOE Head of Department. He teaches our C-P-A-H system (Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract-Heuristics) so students understand the Maths behind every question. More on our Maths tuition page.

Primary and PSLE Maths (P1 to P6)

Primary Maths runs P1 to P5 building core number sense and problem-solving; PSLE Maths is intensive Primary 6 preparation focused on heuristics and multi-step problem sums.

The Maths Booster Programme (P3 to P6)

The Booster is genuinely popular at our Choa Chu Kang centre - many parents pick it up after the first parent-teacher conversation when we identify foundational gaps. It revisits P2/P3/P4/P5 topics the regular class no longer covers, at 50% off when taken alongside regular Maths Mastery.

Recommended for students scoring 60% or below, but open to any student who wants extra reinforcement. Many CCK families slot it on weekends since the regular Maths class runs on a weekday.

Our english tuition in Choa Chu Kang is taught from the latest MOE syllabus - not the version some Choa Chu Kang tuition centres are still using from years past.

The 6-Traits of Writing framework

We give your child a structured approach to composition through our 6-Traits model: ideas, organisation, voice, word choice, sentence fluency and conventions. Full method on our English tuition page.

Primary and PSLE English (P1 to P6)

P1 to P5 builds reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking and listening incrementally. PSLE English drills every paper component including the new Stimulus-Based Conversation format.

Our science tuition in Choa Chu Kang runs Primary 3 through PSLE (Science begins at P3 per the MOE syllabus).

The 3-Pronged Strategy

Edufront's 3-Pronged Strategy focuses on what costs Choa Chu Kang students most in PSLE Science - not content knowledge, but answer structure on Section B open-ended questions. More on our Science tuition page.

Topics and PSLE focus

Primary Science covers diversity, cycles, systems, interactions and energy. PSLE Science drilling concentrates on the open-ended questions that decide the AL band.

Our PSLE tuition in Choa Chu Kang combines PSLE Maths, English and Science with full mock paper practice, marked feedback and time-management coaching. Multiple Choa Chu Kang students achieved PSLE scores between AL 4 and 8 in 2024.

The PSLE Maths Mastery Booster Package

When P6 Maths is taken with 2 or more other subjects, students receive a free Maths Booster class on top of their multi-subject discount. Explore the full PSLE programme, or book a PSLE trial.

This is where our Choa Chu Kang centre offers something most West-side tuition centres can't: hybrid Secondary Malay classes that flex around your family's schedule.

In-centre classes (Sec 1 and Sec 2)

Sec 1 and Sec 2 Malay run in person at our Choa Chu Kang centre in both the G3/Express and G2/NA streams.

Hybrid classes (Sec 3 and Sec 4/5)

Sec 3 and Sec 4/5 Malay (G3/Express) run in person and hybrid format with Cikgu Hayati. Students attend in-centre when they can, and join the same class live via Zoom when they can't - same tutor, same cohort, same lesson.

Why this matters for working families. If your child has a CCA clash, a school event, or you're stuck in traffic, they don't miss the lesson - they simply join live from home. For Secondary students juggling demanding schedules, this flexibility is a genuine difference-maker.

Our Malay tuition in Choa Chu Kang runs from K2 through Secondary 4/5, delivered with our sister brand Pusat Bahasa Nusa.

New for AY2026: Malay (Karangan) Writing Programme

For Primary 3 to Primary 5, our new Malay Karangan Writing Programme focuses specifically on Malay composition - an expansion of our Saya Boleh Mengarang school workshop. Karangan is taught separately from the regular Malay class.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

About our Choa Chu Kang centre and Mastery programmes

Yes — we're approximately 5 minutes on foot from Choa Chu Kang MRT, in the basement of Blk 217 Choa Chu Kang Central. From the MRT, you walk past Lot One Mall and you're at our centre. For parents picking up after class, many use the time to grab dinner or do errands at Lot One. The Choa Chu Kang bus interchange is also right there.

Yes, and this is where Choa Chu Kang stands out. Our Sec 3 and Sec 4/5 G3/Express Malay classes run in hybrid format — taught in person at the centre by Cikgu Hayati, with simultaneous Live-Online access via Zoom. If your child has a CCA clash, a school event, or you're stuck in traffic, they can still join the same class live from home or anywhere else. Same tutor, same cohort, same lesson — just flexible delivery.

For Yew Tee families: 1 stop on the NSL down to Choa Chu Kang MRT, then a 5-minute walk. For Bukit Panjang: the LRT runs directly to Choa Chu Kang MRT, then 5 minutes walk. Many of our students travel from both areas — the centre is positioned at the LRT/NSL interchange specifically to serve the broader Choa Chu Kang–Yew Tee–Bukit Panjang catchment.

The Maths Booster Programme is designed exactly for this. It's a second weekly Maths session — same syllabus, deliberately revisiting earlier topics (P2/P3/P4/P5 depending on your child's gaps) — at 50% off when taken alongside the regular Maths Mastery class. Most of our Choa Chu Kang Booster students slot it on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) since the regular Maths class is on a weekday. Recommended for students scoring 60% or below, but open to any student who wants extra reinforcement.

Secondary Malay for Sec 1 to Sec 4/5, in both G3/Express and G2/NA streams. Sec 1 and Sec 2 run in person; Sec 3 and Sec 4/5 G3/Express run in hybrid format

Yes — public carpark at Choa Chu Kang Central (where the centre is located), plus the Lot One Mall carpark next door. For drop-off, the loading bay along the main road works for quick stops. Most families with young children use Lot One carpark since it gives you somewhere to wait.

Yes, $10.90 per trial lesson — no obligation to continue. For most subjects we can slot a trial within 1–2 weeks. For AY2026 enrolment, P6 classes commence 4 November 2025 and other levels start 2 December 2025. We need a minimum of 2 students for a class to run, but most regular classes at Choa Chu Kang are well-subscribed so this is rarely a constraint.

The monthly programme fee covers your child's weekly class with our tutors. On top of that: one-off registration $32.70 for new students, $50/subject refundable deposit, and $65.40/subject/semester for LMS access (recorded lessons, marked quizzes, parent progress tracking) and physical learning materials. All fees inclusive of 9% GST. Multi-subject or sibling enrolments get 5–20% off, plus 2–5% extra on payment plans.
